As one of our local traffic reporters used to say: oh, my achin’ toe! The first day, we actually drove only as far as Urbana to spend the night before driving on into Chicago the next day. But I remember the first: Labor Day weekend of 1999, my sister and I drove from Atlanta to Chicago in my old Dodge Neon, which had no cruise control. I’ve made a dozen or more to Chicago over the years, and sometimes, they run together in my mind. Chicago has several colleges in and around the city, which worked perfectly for a roommates-to-lovers plot. It’s one of my favorite cities for several reasons, and when the idea for the story arose, I knew that’s where I wanted to set it. When I originally wrote Accidental Fall, I’d just been back to visit Chicago again.

A warm Love Bytes welcome to author Shae Connor joining us to talk about her newest release “Accendental Fall”įirst, thanks to Dani for hosting me today! Always happy to visit.
